The Country Vintner is dedicated to delivering our wines to your customers at the lowest possible price and the highest possible quality. This requires more than a passion for fine wine. It takes a supply chain of wine logistics.

By ensuring that our wines are sourced as economically as possible, we ensure that you receive the best wine available at each of the price points you carry in stock. That's why we make extraordinary efforts to control every step of the logistics process from the vine to your company.

We import hundreds of containers into the United States each year, with regular consolidation and importation from all of the world's great wine-growing regions. We purchase our wines in native currency worldwide, with a strong currency hedging program to keep cost fluctuations in check. At the dock, we pick up our containers with our own trucks to guarantee lowest-cost transport and minimal environmental impact on the wines. We also deliver with our own trucks, and our containers and warehouses are strictly temperature-controlled for peak freshness.

To yield the greatest possible economies of scale from our imports, we maintain advanced consolidation and tracking with an industry-leading inventory management system. An elaborate communications intranet extends from our distribution centers to our consultants' notebook computers in the field, continually keeping all information regarding specific wines, inventory and pricing up to the moment. This provides another important benefit: orders taken by our consultants late in the evening are processed within moments for delivery the next morning. It's a system we developed for a single purpose: to give you and your customers the best wines for the money. After all, that's what The Country Vintner is all about.
